In 1976, Earl Powell, Jr. began working for the local Beaver RV Repair facility (Corvallis) as an RV Technician.  That same year, he joined the Oregon National Guard Reserve, eventually transferring into the U.S. Army Reserve in 1982.  Later, in 1985 (when the original owners of Beaver RV sold) he moved with them to their new venture, Ammonia Technology Corporation (ATCO), to manage their rebuild center for RV refrigerator cooling units.  In Nov. 1988, ATCO was sold and it was then that Earl decided to branch off on his own and by Feb. 1989, he opened the doors of Oregon RV Appliance Repair. Ten years later (1999), he retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as a drill instructor with 22-years of service where he's continued to grow and operate the RV business throughout.
Oregon RV Appliance Repair is family owned and operated by Earl and his wife Maurine (aka: Reni), along with their two boys, EJ and Jared.

We were on the third day of a 4-month trip when our refrigerator started to go out. Earl was able to do some pretty extensive repairs and have us back on the road the same day. It's not often that we feel able to unreservedly give a recommendation, but we absolutely can with Earl and Oregon RV. He is honest, extremely knowledgeable and literally saved our vacation. Thank you Earl!

Really appreciate your honesty, helpfulness, and friendliness.  I've had you do all the repairs on our Monico motorhome and you have always gone above and beyond our expectations. We are glad we found you.

Called Oregon RV for a service call to the Blue Ox RV Park late Friday and had someone onsite the following day.  The technician [Earl] was extremely polite and courteous.  He had my furnace working in no time. Thanks!

Friday afternoon, as we prepared to pull out of town for the weekend, we discovered our refrigerator wasn't working. It was nearly 5pm, but we stopped in hoping we might be able to get it fixed.  Earl had us up and running within the hour. Hurrah! Vacation saved!
